The crapshit crazy Ted Nugent makes some interesting accusations in this video — claiming that the Obama administration is full of criminals and four members of the Supreme Court believe we have no right to self-defense — but, like most wingnuts, he’s short on facts or examples. This is the ‘fill-in-the-blanks’ propaganda game the righties love to play; accuse the other side of something horrible and then let the imagination of the audience supply the details. They have to do this because, once you find out specifically what they are talking about, the charge generally turns out to be as ludicrous and koo-koo as the Birther nonsense or that Obama was in the Weather Underground when he was 9 years old. Mitt Romney should run screaming from this addled pinhead, but he probably won’t, especially since his son Tagg apparently thinks this washed-up rock star is still “cool.” (See Tweet below. Incidentally, Mr. Love-The-Military Braveheart Hypocrite, when he had a chance to serve his country, avoided the draft with student deferments for two years (while he was on tour with his band) and then by wearing the same pair of jeans for a month, and going in his pants for a week before his induction physical. As News Hounds reports, quoting a Nugent interview: “(Nugent claims) that 30 days before his Draft Board Physical, he stopped all forms of personal hygiene. The last 10 days he ingested nothing but junk food and Pepsi, and a week before his physical, he stopped using the bathroom altogether, virtually living inside his pants caked with excrement and urine. That spectacle won Nugent a deferment.” Of course, like most chickenhawks, Nugent guarantees he would have kicked ass in Vietnam, if only he didn’t have other ‘priorities’ like that other right-wing ‘tough guy’ Dick Cheney: ” ‘… if I would have gone over there, I’d have been killed, or I’d have killed, or I’d kill all the hippies in the foxholes … I would have killed everybody,’ he told the Detroit Free Press in an interview published July 15, 1990.” Another disgusting Phony Conservative Coward who only shoots at things that can’t shoot back. Glad the Romney campaign is stuck with him.
